Although there are signs of a YOU group
organizing as early as 1946, The first ‘Youth of Unity’ group was activated in
1950, and in 1951, became affiliated with International YOU at Lee’s Summit,
Missouri. The YOU has had a strong presence for almost 50 years now, and has played an
active role in the success of Tampa Unity.
