Join us to celebrate another exciting and empowering year of HOPE!
It has been another amazing year of accomplishments for HOPE, the Hillsborough Organization for Progress and Equality. HOPE is a multi-issue, grassroots, community organization consisting of 28 multicultural and interfaith member congregations throughout Hillsborough County.
HOPE’s mission is to promote justice, fairness, and the dignity of people by engaging and training community members to effectively act together in achieving long-term solutions to serious community problems impacting our families and neighbors.
HOPE is now Unity of Tampa’s newest Vision Team! 60+ Unity of Tampa congregants joined April 8th’s Nehemiah Action event. Over 1,250 people came together to push public officials to approve the recommended $10 million in the County’s HOPE Affordable Housing Fund and to address flooding and water quality by implementing green infrastructure in stormwater drainage ponds.
The HOPE Celebration is on Tues., June 3, 6:30 pm, Bayshore Baptist Church, 3111 W. Morrison Avenue in Tampa. Check-in, food, and socializing are at 6:30 pm. The meeting starts at 7 pm.
