How You Can Help!

Thanks for your willingness to provide assistance to Florida families. We have found three opportunities that can provide valuable help.

Unity of Ft Myers

Although Unity of Ft Myers was fortunate to have weathered the storm without significant damage, two of their long-time congregants have lost just about everything. Linda and Russ Walton are in their 70/80’s. Their home and a duplex they rent out as transitional housing to those in need were completely flooded. We are accepting cash donations to be sent to them directly. See Rev. Nancy or Jeffrey King on Sunday.

Hillsborough County Public Library accepting non-perishable food items

Commissioner Ken Hogan has arranged for Hillsborough County libraries & community resource centers to accept non-perishable, non-expired food donations for those effected by Hurricane Ian.

If you can donate, please bring your items in a sturdy bag between the hours of 10am and 5pm, Monday through Saturday to the most convenient collection center.   To check on your nearest library or community resource center and get more information on how you can help, please log on at www.hcflgov.net.
