Join the Unity of Tampa Paint Your Heart Out Team!
For over 35 years Paint Your Heart Out Tampa has supported limited-income seniors, veterans, and disabled members of our community by painting their homes. Unity of Tampa joins the effort for the third year, committing to painting one house.
The dauntless Dave Trull leads our team and is looking for volunteers to paint. No supplies or previous experience necessary. Paint, brushes and all supplies are provided by Paint Your Heart Out. Ladders are also supplied, but extras are handy. Volunteers must be over age 18.
Recipients of the house-painting effort include those age 62 and over who have a limited income, are on disability, or are a veteran. They must own and live in the home; however, exceptions are made for lifetime estates. Only one-story houses (no manufactured homes) are eligible. The house will get two coats of white paint and the owner’s choice of 4 different trim colors.
Paint day is Saturday, April 18 , starting at 8:00 AM, and hopefully finishing mid-afternoon.
See Dave Trull for more information and sign-up.
